Tough Shoes (sneakers) for Boys
Have a boy that wears shoes out?I do, My son can turn a cheap pair of shoes into trash shoes in 2 months. I call him Nathan the Destroyer (hereafter referred to as NtD)
Soles will have holes,
Toes have holes,
Outside of shoe has holes,
and Back has holes.
I have found the perfect shoe - Adidas Indestrux.
But, alas they are no more, which is messed up. These did not wear out, but were outgrown.
Adidas has the next model - Adidas Kids' KDX. These have a few differences and models.
NtD has not worn these, because they too are not on the market anymore. They can be found in rare cases in limited sizes, see here.
These are of very similar design and similar construction (the KDX 500 more so)
I continue to search the world (www) over and nothing else is close.
Adidas has fallen down on the job their only close replacement is the Adidas Little Kid/Big Kid Kanadia.
My comments come from observations only, it has the same sole construction, some toe protection (not enough for NtD) but not the same side, back heel protection.
